About our Family
Lux was started in 1948 by Johnny and Addie Lux with one uncovered truck. The first enclosed van was added in 1956. The first totally NEW truck was a 1960 International which is still in service, although it mainly keeps a proud and diligent watch over the parking lot.
Since that time, Lux has always been a family owned and operated business, with the exception of a few years in the late 1970's.
Until 1984, our warehouse was located in downtown Bozeman on Mendenhall, first at 41 then 138 West Mendenhall. But as the size of moving vans increased, we found it necessary to relocate to the present location on Simmental Way.

Webster's Dictionary defines the word "quality" as a degree of excellence, superiority in kind. "Customer" is one that purchases a commodity or service. "Service" is the occupation or function of serving. In other words, quality customer service would be providing our customers the highest aspects of the move -- before, during and after. It must be noted, the move is not complete until all services required and requested are accomplished. The qualities and performance of these activities will determine the future of our company. In plain words, quality service is the key to our success. It is an ongoing pursuit of Atlas World Group to provide all of our customers total service satisfaction.
